We are now looking for a service-oriented Onsite Technician to join our team in Linköping. In this role, you will play a key position in ensuring a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT environment for the business – directly with end-users.

The position requires physical presence on-site and is suitable for those who enjoy being close to users, like problem-solving, and want to work in an environment where quality, security, and service are in focus.

About the role 
As an Onsite Technician, you will be responsible for the daily IT delivery on-site – everything from user support and client management to conference rooms and shared spaces. You are often the one who solves problems when remote support is not sufficient, and you become an important face for IT within the organization.

You will be part of the Onsite Support team that handles incidents, service requests, and information dissemination to users. The role involves close collaboration with both IT colleagues and the business. 
 

Your tasks

  • Onsite support to users where remote support is not sufficient 
  • Installation and delivery of computers, phones, and other IT hardware 
  • Responsibility for inventory management of client equipment 
  • Support for printers, conference rooms, and shared spaces 
  • Handling of VIP cases 
  • Documentation in the ticketing system and knowledge database 
  • Systematic troubleshooting 
  • Support for colleagues during operational disruptions and security incidents 
  • Contribute to high quality in the local onsite delivery 


Your profile

  • Relevant experience in IT support / onsite support 
  • A strong interest in technology and a passion for helping others 
  • Service-oriented, structured, and solution-focused 
  • Thrives in an environment where priorities can change quickly 
  • Works independently but is also a team player 
  • Eager to contribute improvement suggestions and more efficient working methods 
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written 
     

Meritorious 

  • Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments 
  • Experience in security-sensitive operations 
  • Documentation experience in ITSM systems
